There is no difference at all. All Chinese players play under TR24 low with zero lag every day. There are at least three show matches daily with Korean players. Some Korean players, like Srich, got invited to participate in Chinese tournaments as well, and it's always TR24 low. Playing in BSL is the only event in which Chinese players must endure lag.

Playing in BSL is the only event in which Chinese players must endure lag. I think you misread what I wrote and that we actually both agree. Players in both China and Korea enjoy lag free games internally and (mostly) vs each other, as you correctly state yet I never implied otherwise. But the specific Chinese players that were at the start of this tournament do have experience with laggier situations in foreign events and have been successful there. Therefore it is not an entirely new situation for them and they have shown success with the same situation in the past. Whereas most koreans have never even encountered the situation in a tournament setting.
